Step-by-step instructions to cook

Prep

1

Crumble the paneer and set it aside.

2

Wash and finely cut the onions and tomatoes.

Cooking

1

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds (jeera) and let it crackle.

2

Next, add ginger-garlic paste, finely chopped onions, and salt. Saute until the onions turn golden in color.

3

Add the roughly chopped tomatoes and continue sauteing.

4

Once the mixture turns mushy, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder and saute for a minute.

5

Now, add the crumbled paneer and mix well. If it seems too dry, sprinkle a few drops of water, but be cautious not to add too much.

6

Cover and cook for a minute.

7

Finally, add coriander leaves and kasoori methi, give it a quick mix, and switch off the heat
