A healthy version of white rice that involves the same procedure of cooking as white rice.
Brown Rice

Kosher Salt

Prep
Rinse brown rice 2 to 3 times under running water and drain.
Cooking
Add drained rice to the pressure cooker along with water, salt, making sure the rice is evenly submerged in water.
Close the cooker lid and cook the rice on medium-high heat for 3 to 4 whistles, turn the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally. Use cooked rice as desired.
